Biography
Charles Bahn Teske graduated from Lafayette College in 1954, and went on to pursue a PhD a Yale University. Teske also spent a year as a Fullbright Scholar in Germany. Charles Teske was English faculty at Oberlin College during the 1960s, and was hired as a founding dean of The Evergreen State College in 1970. Teske served as faculty until 1998. Charles was also a active performer and patron of music, particularly jazz and classical, throughout his lifetime.
