The Evergreen Environmental Resource Center (ERC) was a student club dedicated to educating the Evergreen State College students and Olympia community about environmental issues. The ERC was initially created as an umbrella group to bring together a variety of environmental clubs on campus, including the Sierra Club, Crabshell, Greenpeace, and the Olympia Wilderness Coalition. In 1979, the club transitioned towards becoming a recourse and educational center that would raise awareness about environmental issues.
