Early histories and historical documents that led to the founding of The Evergreen State College and its first three years of operation. Includes first self study documents for initial accreditation which outline the history of the College divisions to date.

Includes the two books on experimental colleges that sparked most of the pedogogical idealism and creativity that marked the early decades of the institution:
