This collection contains correspondence, program planning, syllabus, program descriptions, and newspaper clippings. Also included are program and faculty evaluations, MIT sub committee documents, program covenant, Masters in Teaching (MIT) student/faculty visitation schedule/s, book lists, student assignment log, and syllabi. Materials document Janice Kido's activities for the MIT program from 1989-2000

Biographical note
Janice Kido began her career at The Evergreen State College (TESC) 1988 and retired in 2005. From 1988 through 1989 she was a faculty member specializing in the social sciences. From 1991 through 1996 she was the director of the Graduate Program in Teaching. From 1996 through 1998 she was a faculty at the Tacoma campus. From 1998 through 2001 she was a faculty member in the graduate in teaching program. She was involved in the following campus governance activities several search committee disappearing task forces (DTF), Evergreen Center for Educational Improvement (ECEI), MIT Admissions: Academic Review Board, and several faculty 5 year review committees. Janice was a representative of TESC for the following professional organizations: Washington Association of Colleges for Teacher Education (WACTE), MIT’S Professional Education Advisory Board (PEAB), Tacoma School district panel of Community Leaders, Commission on Student Learning Workshop on Teacher Assessment and Alignment, and Asian/Pacific Islander Youth Summit. Janice Kido retired in 2005 and received Emeritus status.
