Scope and Contents

This collection consists of performance programs, marketing materials, publicity regarding performances, correspondence, director's notes, cast lists, handouts, scripts, sheet music, slides and photographs of performances, and faculty evaluations for academic programs from 1972-1998.

Biographical Note

Ainara Wilder was born in Latvia and received her bachelor's degree in Dramatic Arts from Wisconsin State University in 1968 and a master's of Theatre Arts from the University of Wisconsin in 1969 and a PhD in the same in 1971. She taught creative dramatics, children's theater, and theatre arts at the University of Wisconsin from 1969-1971. From 1972-1998 she was a faculty member at The Evergreen State College.

Ainara Wilder's papers are divided into three series: Performance Portfolios (are ordered by year), Program Histories (ordered by year), and Personal Papers (in two subseries: Evaluations and Correspondence.
