Exhibit Touring Service
Scope and Contents
The materials presented here are concentrated on the actual exhibits prepared for touring throughout Exhibit Touring Services proclaimed service area. Documentation includes exhibit preparation, booking, and response from the public for most of the exhibits sponsored by the service up through the time that administration was transferred to its new instittutional home.

Historical Note
A program established by 1983 by Sid White, Art faculty at The Evergreen State College. The program was meant as both a way for the College to outreach to Washington State communities as well as to provide art works for communities to use in local exhibition spaces such as libraries, museums and other vemues.
The program was sponsored out of The Evergreen State College into the early 1990's and then the administration was transferred to a Seattle based institution.

Summary
Provides documentation on an early outreach program of The Evergreen State College to provide art exhibit materials to community institutions such as libraries and museums throughout Washington State. The program was headed by faculty member Sidney White.
